A new journal that’s free to readers and authors

Launching in early 2015, ACS Central Science is a multidisciplinary, highly selective, peer-reviewed journal that will be completely open access.

  • Led by Carolyn R. Bertozzi, a Howard Hughes Medical Institute investigator and the T. Z. & Irmgard Chu Distinguished Professor of Chemistry and a professor of molecular and cell biology at the University of California, Berkeley
  • Publishing exceptional primary research at the intersection of chemistry and other disciplines, ranging from biomedicine and nanotechnology to energy, earth and planetary sciences.
  • All articles will be freely available online immediately upon publication and without publishing charges levied on authors, thus enabling and encouraging researchers around the world to experience the benefits of open access.
